Abstract

The article offers information on the benefits of solar geoengineering research program for the reduction of climate change risks. Mentioned is the potential production of radiative forcing (RF) from accumulated greenhouse gases as well as the impact of human factors on RF expansion. Information is also provided regarding the 2017 U.S. Global Change Research Program report and the 2015 National Research Council report, "Climate Intervention: Reflecting Sunlight to Cool Earth."
